I am really excited to finally showcase my first set of chairs. Before the big reveal, here are a view shots of "before" and "during" the transformation:
The naugahyde looks like it is in great shape in this picture, but it was scratched and pocked and had a lot of wear and tear.
After stripping it down to the frame, the chair received new foundation and new foam.
Adding the welting.......

I love make over shows and this is like a furniture version! I love the new color but can't wait to see the finished product. Keep us posted!!
ReplyDeleteI like the chang mai dragon one. I think the smaller print will show up better on the relatively small surface area of the seat cushion. Happy upholstering cutie...Where did you find these gems anyway?
