Remember this beauty picked up on Ebay?

Well, I should go away more often because look what greeted me when I got home last week:

It now serves as a changing table and houses Quinn's growing wardrobe.  I L-U-V it!

I am pretty sure husband used a plain old roller.  It came out awesome!

Bamboozled

I was on an ebay winning streak last week.  Luckily, I'm not in the market for anything else at the moment because I definitely just jinxed myself.

Look what I got for the baby's changing table/dresser:

I'm not sure what color I'll paint it, but I like it's versatility and see it as a dresser or entry way credenza down the road.

The sellers have another bamboo piece if you are interested:  I paid $202.50 plus $99 shipping (which seems to be the flat rate of east coast deliveries).  *Note the laminate top which mine has, too.  I'm hoping it will blend with a good coat of paint.

Mod_Design  is one of my favorite sellers and always have great deals and shipping prices.  I've purchased a few sets of chairs from them in the past and they are great.  

I am loving this dining set, which I am picturing in a breakfast nook.  Paint the chairs, maybe replace the fabric (but kind of retro cool as is), and substitute the table for a tulip table (Saarinen or IKEA)

It is currently listed at $9.99 with 0 bids and about 3 1/2 days left.  Somebody please get this!

Another Ebay Find I Have to Pass Up

PLEASE someone get this.

I wanted it for the baby's changing table, but it is only 24" wide.  It would last me a month until the baby was dangling off the side (although we're short folk, so maybe I could get away with it for longer....)

Anyway - It looks awesome white or you could paint it in another fun color.  I picture it as a key and mail drop off station just inside your front door.  Add this mirror and a few trays for keys and mail and you're an organized woman.

(UM - WHAT THE FRICK?  I  just went to Ballards to get the link and they no longer carry it!!!  If anyone sees it, please buy it for me.  I did see it at the Ballards outlet in ATL and it was really fragile and easily damaged, but I l-u-v it)

A little chuckle for the day......

I almost bid on this fabric on ebay yesteray but then forgot about it  and missed the deadline. I am a sucker for anything blue and white  and if you throw a little bamboo in there it is an added bonus.   I laughed hysterically for about 5 minutes after I read the  description and the post script......enjoy :) Fantastic Vintage Hollywood Regency Style  1960's Remnant. -I just love this fabric! When I think of the most  typical pattern in Hollywood Regency  textile design, it's always lattice work. This pattern looks  like it's meant to be bamboo as well. It's a medium weight  cotton which would work well for a cool upholstery project,  like a set of dinning chairs, or a fun summer shit dress. -The fabric is fresh and bright, no damage or fading. Someone Go Buy This

I was debating about getting this chair. The auction ends Mar 06, 201019:12:01 PST and there is currently only 1 bid on it. I inquired about shipping and it is $79 to Boston and Charleston so I think it is safe to say that is a flat rate for the entire east coast.

I envision her (aka Ophelia) maintaining her beautiful hue of gold and upholstered in a simple pattern to compliment the bathroom/vanity she rules over. Or, she'd be a great accent chair in a bedroom....or little girl's nursery :)

I decided not to bid for it since we have enough to move, so that is why I am sharing this little gem with you. Don't let it slip away.  I've bought from these dealers in the past and their stuff is great. Bid confidently and make me proud!
