Is it possible to be in love with an inanimate object? The minute I put the fabric on this chair, it transformed into the prettiest seat I've ever seen.
She will be finished next Wednesday soon and ready for a new home (tear).....
I just have to finish adding the piping and put on the back
Oh, I so get the "(tear)". I have chairs that I have to part with and I feel like they are being torn from me, ouch! LOVE that chair you're working on, it looks great. I am slowly getting there with the staples. Thanks for asking. They are very long staples and they are covered in thick glue from the braid. Also there is a lot of "show wood" which I am being very careful not to damage. The image in my mind of the finished product is what keeps me going on most of my projects, I'm sure you know what I mean! Ohhhh la la! She turned out beautifully! I don't know how you part from your beautiful pieces. Love love love the Rubie Green East Village---the perfect choice. XXX Kate "the NEO-trad"
